I recently had a fantastic stay at a charming bed and breakfast close to the city center. The location on top of a very steep hill provided breathtaking views of the surrounding area. The cottage was tastefully presented and had everything I needed, including a comfortable room and a clean bathroom. The hosts were friendly, providing warm hospitality and delicious homemade breakfast. The peaceful garden setting added to the idyllic atmosphere of the place.
The only drawback was the lack of an elevator, which made it a bit challenging to carry my luggage up the steep hill.

The cottage was beautifully furnished and cozy, providing a private and comfortable stay.
The cottage was quite small, so if you're looking for a spacious unit, it may not be the best choice.

Value for money was excellent, and the room was good with old-fashioned charm and modern amenities like wifi and Netflix. The location up in the hill was fine, with beautiful views of the bay, and the staff treated us with warm hospitality. Definitely coming back!
Breakfast delights could be improved with the addition of a top sheet instead of a duvet and cover for the warmer temperatures.

I had the most marvelous stay at this charming bed & breakfast tucked away in a scenic valley. The cozy cottage was perfect for a peaceful getaway. The homemade breakfast spread, especially the pastries and bread, was good. I also loved taking a refreshing dip in the pool. The hosts, Kitty and Peter, were good and made me feel right at home. The location, surrounded by native bush and birdsong, added to the overall tranquility. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend this hidden gem and will definitely be returning if I ever find myself in Napier again.

Kitty, our warm and attentive host, made our family feel right at home in this quaint and comfortable cottage. The delicious breakfast spread was enough for all five of us, including the best homemade bread we've ever tasted. Kitty's wealth of local knowledge helped us plan our adventures in the historic fishing village of Ahuriri, where we discovered fantastic restaurants and enjoyed the vibrant waterfront atmosphere. Our stay at Bluff Hill B&B was truly one of the best experiences we've had as a family.
For dads, it would be great to have a playground for the children.
